How To Get More From SEO

Thursday, March 31st, 2011

Dedicating time to SEO is something that plenty of people do but unfortunately they do not spend this time wisely. Most people don’t have a lot of time to spare for SEO so the time that we do spend should be spent as effectively as we can. In order for you to be able to judge your effectiveness you will need to have and be able to use some type of analytics software. Probably the most popular of these tools is Google analytics but there are other ones available too.

If you are spending a large amount of time trying to build up incoming links to your site then you really need to be able to determine how effective they are. Analytics will tell you where your traffic is coming from and if you are spending hours setting up links and you are only getting one or two extra hits then you are probably wasting your time. It really doesn’t make sense for you to spend huge amounts of time on social media sites such as Facebook or Twitter trying to gain interest in your site if you are only getting a tiny amount of traffic from it. Even though having these links will be impressive to the Google bots, they will be more impressed by more traffic to your site. In order to determine the success of any new SEO techniques you are using, you should use analytics for this too.

It is also worth using them for individual posts as well. You need to have a look at the ones which seem to be more popular and try to figure out why this is. Did you use keywords particularly well in that post? Were there a lot of links to this particular article? Once you can work out what makes some types of content more successful than others you can work on replicating more of this type of post.

When setting up a website it’s important to have great Search Engine Optimisation. There are many things a good SEO company can do for your site, including Article Marketing. Expert help is always a boon when it comes to SEO. SEO only forms part of the equation though, Web Hosting Reviews are vital as well.

In order to optimize your site, it is important to focus on all the variables and not just one or two. Many marketers fret and obsess over Page Rank of their site. Keep in mind that there are many factors that help determne a site’s search rank. There are sites with lower ranking that are faring better than higher placed ones. Ranking is just one factor to consider – what’s more important is optimizing your site and creating backlinks. A properly optimized site is more help in the long run than a high search rank. The thing that will help the most is making a list of areas where you can improve regarding SEO. In your keyword research, do make sure you use long-tail keyword phrases for your SEO. When it comes to helpful hints and tips about SEO, that’s as good and useful as it gets. It’s true that all markets contain vast numbers of keywords, in the thousands, but you’ll want to start out with those terms you have a good chance to rank for without too much problem. The trick you need to do is select those keywords that don’t have an obscene amount of competition, and they have a respectable search volume each month. Aside from those two considerations, it’s doubly important to use those long-tail phrases that are relevant to your topic and are a logical grouping. The more you are specific with your keyword group, the better your results will be in the search engine rankings. It is known that long-tail keywords are more closely associated with the buying cycle, so your results will be better. Starting your search for someone

Tuesday, March 29th, 2011

If you are conducting a search for someone you are in good company. Trying to find a person has become very common.  There are millions of people finder searches done in this country every year.   It is the increase in these numbers that is alarming – 20% annually.

If you are just starting out on your search you should begin by assessing what category of search you are in.  People who simply want to find someone with whom they have lost contact – like a school mate or working associate have it pretty easy.   However, when you get into prior marriage issues, felons, deadbeat dads, and other people eluding location then things get a bit more complex.  When in doubt, use a people finder.

If your search is in the simple/easy category of lost contact you can spend some time doing free searches of email address and phone numbers.  You should get a hit one several of these over time.   If not or if you are in a hurry you should strongly consider one of the online People Finder firms that will conduct the search for $20-$40 and probably get you a hit in several minutes.

For the tougher searches and for all searches where you are pretty sure that the target is actively eluding you then you should start with a list of what you know.  Write down every piece of data that you have on this person, including full name with middle name, not initial, addresses, phone numbers, prior email address, SSN, Driver License Number, and anything else associated with their name.

Your actual searching should begin with the easiest ones first – i.e. online searches for email and phone.   While those searches are running you should begin your detailed though process.  What we are referring to here is the step where you examine everything in the life of the target person including schools, hobbies, jobs, and especially everything related to formalized ownership.

Formalized ownership means anything that States and Counties legally keep track of like real estate, automobiles, boats, planes, etc.  Chasing this data though State and County files can be very productive. This collection of data will allow you to conduct your next set of searches, called Direct Access searches.  When you do get hits, use that information to begin chasing things like real estate titles, marriage license, etc.   Notate everything recovered but do not consider any of it factual until you have verified proof of such. Definitely try an address search on by entering ‘address search’ in Google.

The second category of search activity is called Special Interest Searches. This includes college clubs, military service, religious congregations, etc.   Much of these leads can be chased down using free online services that support member access.

You\r last category of search activity relates to Negative History.   This includes anything illegal or code violations like unpaid taxes, etc. that are kept on State and County roles.   It includes arrest records, tax liens, court orders, injunctions, convictions, etc.  What you are looking for here is both identity and verification of the same.   If you turn up something in this category it will normally be of significant content. Getting a hit in this category will normally serve your search activities well in terms of producing valuable data.   It will greatly contribute to your effort to find a person
